Work From Customer Provided CAD data, Samples or Prototypes
Ercon offer a comprehensive turning service, working from customer provided CAD data, existing samples or prototypes.
We provide unprecedented consistency and repeatability providing excellent quality and accuracy throughout an entire batch of components.
Milling Process
Our CNC machining offers the same quality as our turning department, as well as the ability to machine complex 2D and 3D forms to the customer specification. As with our turners, our skilled CNC machinists produce the same quality and accuracy time and time again.
Our attention to your requirements and attention to detail of design and set up means the solution will meet all your business needs.
We will engineer components from any metal you require including:
- Stainless steel,
- Titanium
- And other exotic materials
As well as machining, turning and milling, you can benefit from additional services including laser cutting, which means we can handle every step of the production process – transforming technical drawings through to delivering the completed parts.
Tapping
Tapping is essentially where you put a thread into a piece of metal for a screw to fit. It’s different to drilling as the inside of the metal is usually smooth and creates a plain surface inside.
After the tapping on a piece of work has completed, there is space for a screw to screw in. The tapping machine is low maintenance and uses top quality parts.
Lathe Work
Lathework is the process of turning bars of metal into various different shapes. They’re also used usually to turn pieces of metal into circular shapes and can also make holes and threads.
The work usually has a max diameter of 55mm x 320mm.
